A good brand comes from an idea, but a great brand comes from a truth.

Formed in 1888, Kent & Essex is one of Ontario’s oldest and largest mutual insurance companies however, their brand needed help. It sounded generic and was stuck in the past.

The unlock came from leveraging a core truth to the company; as a mutual insurer, K&E are owned by their customers and customers only, so unlike the competition, they don’t prioritize company or share growth at all costs. They intentionally reject bigger markets and focus only on the residents of small towns and communities. The Result? They uniquely know where their customers come from, have a shared understanding of their needs, and tailor the products and services to get them to reach their dreams. And they’ve been doing this for generations.
