Dusting off
a local gem.
Home Hardware was known as your dad’s store. Dated, dusty, and kitschy. But the days of the Kuraidori knife sets (remember those?) were long gone. Replaced with high quality, affordable products and a a quaint local store vibe vs. the competitors’ vast intimidating warehouses. We still had the approachable, highly knowledgeable staff to answer every question, give all the help, so you left feeling ready, and this was our differentiation. Products can be got anywhere but expertise, reassurance, advice, that was unique to us. So when Canadians came, asking for help, they left with the knowledge and confidence needed to tackle any project big or small.
Celebrating those
who ask
Hardware stores and the home reno projects can be intimidating. To break this fear down,
we put the spotlight on everyday Canadians who were confident enough to ask for help.
Highlighting our staff went arm-in-arm with showcasing the everyday people who asked.
